Many peoples are confused that what is difference between electrical and electronics.

What is Electrical:-

Electrical device convert the electrical energy into other form of energy, and it circuits don’t have ability to take decisions.

Example:- When we supply Electrical energy to a Motor, so it give Mechanical energy, and  when supply to a Bulb it convert to Light, and Iron give Heat.

Define Electrical Ability:-

Washing Machine:- is an electrical device but its motor speed is depended on voltage, when voltage will decrease motor speed will be decrease with voltages and when voltage will increase motor speed will be increase. And if we want that motor speed remain constant or rotation be change in every 1-2 minutes so we required a Electronics circuit which do control on the motor after we can say that Washing machine is both electrical and electronics.

What Is Electronics:-

Electronics device control the flow of electrons for performing particular task. Because electronics don’t change energy to other form it only control current and voltage flows and it Able to make any decisions.

Define Electronics Ability:-

Example:-

LED or Television (TV) it’s a electronic device or appliance it can take any decision easily like change volume, change channel etc.

In Easy words different that Electrical device running without any control, but Electronics device running in under control.

Electrical and electronics main difference is that electrical deals with heavy current, power or voltage and big or heavy appliances, and electronics deal with low current, power and small appliances, Electrical related with Electricity & Electronics as Science and Technology.

Any equipment having windings it’s an electrical device or appliance, and any device having circuit its electronic device.

Also home wiring, Grid station, Generating station is belongs with electrical, many people are understanding that Electrical only exist in (AC) “Alternating current” but it’s not 100% true because we also use (DC) “Direct current”, Motor on many places when Motor is electrical device not electronics so its proof that electrical deals with both current (AC & DC) but Electrical More belong with High Voltage and AC current like “33kv” “11Kv” 220v etc.

Home wiring, Transformer, Motor, Fan, deals with electrical, Again its proof that electrical belong both “AC” & “DC” because we do home wiring for DC like Solar or 12v etc. Also Generator is electrical device.

But electronics only belongs with Low Voltage, many circuit operates on low voltage like Smart Phone (Mobile), Laptop, Computer LED (TV) etc, it’s all electronic appliances because above all devices inside having a circuit.

Electrical study discus about how electricity transmission or distribute and generate, & electronics study about Semi conductors, like “Diode” (Rectifier), Transistor, Capacitor, Micro processor, etc.

Now we mostly use Electronic items because electronic make more easy our Life, like Smart Phones, Computer, and House hold goods like Inverters (UPS), Sensors, etc. Sensors give enhance to our House, and industry, so sensors is count in electronics because it take many decisions.

Such as many manufacture companies or industries use electronic technology, mostly use it, but electronics is incompletes without electrical.

Material Uses in Electrical:-

Mostly usage in electrical:- Copper, Aluminum, Very low uses other material.

Material Uses in Electronics:-

Silicon, germanium, Carbon, Tin, Lead, etc.

Different between Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Electrical Engineering:- Belong with Design, develop, and manage the manufacturing of electrical equipment, like motors, navigation system and power generation equipment etc. and He concerned with the large scale production and distribution of  Electrical power, He works in very wide range area.

Electronics Engineers:- Design electronics Circuits , devices, integrated circuit and their system, and He design printed circuit boards based on requirements. He Focus on smaller electronics Works...
